Alice Black

Alice Black by J. Schlenker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is slow-paced; however, the story was interesting enough to persuade a reader to keep reading. The author did well to add some elements that would keep the reader interested in finding out what the story has to offer. The story was about a young lady from a dysfunctional home. She struggled through life with the hopes of finding better days. Her greatest desire was to have the questions about her family answered.

The Story of Alice Black did not sound too artificial to me. I don't know the right way to communicate this, but my point is that it felt so real.
