December is a particular time of the year for a lot of people. Not just for the select dates and celebrations, but because it is the last month.
December is special to me for many reasons, including my mum's birthday on the 24th and the 25th, the day Christians celebrate Christ's birth.
I call it a happy month because I am excited for no visible reason. It feels like I am high on happiness. I can't explain this, but I know I am overly happy.
If you are a Christian or a Christmas celebration lover, I believe you will find this post fascinating.
As you know, there is a lot of planning that goes into December. Aside from preparing for Christmas, it is essential to have my house warm. One of the gazillion things that need to be fixed.
Personally, my December planning process is divided into two. I plan for things I can control by getting things done and delegating some responsibilities. You know the drill: shopping, cleaning, cooking, decorating, basically preparing for the Christmas celebration.
On the flip side, I plan for the things I can't control by placing them in God’s hands in prayer. I am fond of exercising or investing in the things of God, such as praying, reaching out to the needy, blessing people, reaching out to the unsaved, and anointing my house.
I love to refer to them as the physical essentials and the spiritual essentials.
